So, a few days ago my wife "asked" me to do crafts with her and my daughter. generally, I'm not the best at little artsy projects. I can draw great battle scenes and army figures, but having a daughter has gently forced me to use a different part of my brain. We had seen some crafts made with toilet paper rolls and decided to give it a shot. My wife made a butterfly with flowers and all and my daughter made a cute butterfly too. I took it to a different level and made a pumpkin bat. After posting this awesome craft on Pinterest, I realized that I have a "knack" for these kinds of things - so expect some other awesome craft ideas to follow on here. Lesson learned: craft time doesn't have to be girly and I CAN do crafts.

So this is my blog...first time ever having a blog - but after a recent trip with my family, I realized that I have a lot to share about what I love most about being a dad and what I'm good at. My wife tells me I'm a great father and my 3-year old daughter doesn't have to tell me - I can hear it in her laugh and see it in her smile (which is super cute by the way).
My wife and I both work 40+ hour work jobs. My wife is also highly involved in activities in the community outside of work, and I often find myself doing things most would call the "mom's responsibility."
So, this blog is going to have my thoughts on fatherhood, some tips on how to "survive," and some other random ideas from my brain.
Here goes nothing...
